《大黃》瀉熱毒,破積滯,行瘀血。治實熱便秘,譫語發狂,食積痞滿,痢疾初起,里急后重,瘀停經閉,癥瘕積聚,時行熱疫,暴眼赤
痛,吐血,衄血,陽黃,水腫,淋濁,溲赤,潰瘍腫毒,療瘡,燙火傷。

《厚朴》味辛,溫。入脾、胃、大腸經。溫中,下氣,燥濕,消炎。治胸腹痞滿脹痛,反胃,嘔吐,宿食不消,痰飲喘咳,寒濕瀉痢。

《人參》味甘微苦,溫。入脾、肺經。大補元氣、固脫生津,安神。治勞傷虛損,食少,倦怠,反胃吐食,大便滑泄,虛咳喘促,自汗暴
脫,惊悸,健忘,眩暈頭痛,陽痿,尿頻,消渴,婦女崩漏,小兒慢惊,及久虛不复,一切氣血津液不足之証。

《桔硬》味辛,平。入肺、胃經。開宣肺氣,祛痰排膿。治外感咳嗽,咽喉腫痛,肺腫吐膿,胸滿肕痛,痢疾腹痛。

《甘草》補脾益氣,清熱解毒,祛痰止咳,緩急止痛,調和諸藥。用于脾胃虛弱,倦怠乏力,心悸氣短,咳嗽痰多,脘腹、四肢攣急疼痛,
瘀腫瘡毒,緩解藥物毒性、烈性。

《生姜》味辛,溫。入肺,胃,脾經。 發表,散寒,止嘔,開痰。治感冒風寒,嘔吐,痰飲,喘咳,脹滿,泄瀉;解半夏,天南星及魚蟹、
鳥獸肉毒。

《杭白芍》平肝止痛,養血調經,斂陰上汗。用于頭痛眩暈,肕痛,腹痛,四肢攣痛,血虛萎黃,月經不調,自汗,盜汗。
